Sundarban Sagar Sangam Travels was born out of a simple conviction: the Sundarbans is the most extraordinary wilderness in the world, and too few people experience it the right way. Founder Priya Mondal grew up navigating these tidal creeks, listening to the jungle wake at dawn, and watching tigers leave their marks in the mudflats.
In 2013, with one wooden boat, a deep knowledge of the delta, and an obsessive commitment to safety, Priya launched Sundarban Sagar Sangam Travels from Gosaba — the last town before the forest swallows the land. Today, we're a family of 18 locals — guides, captains, cooks, and storytellers — united by a single purpose: giving you a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with nature.
